Starting your own journal is simple : go to your nearby bookstore and pick up a notebook.

Simple right?

But not for me… what I look for in my journal is to have the dates printed, each day with at least 1 page of space to scribble on and the journal must be in a snug size that can fit into my handbag and not too heavy to carry around. Of course, being finicky, I try to find a journal that feels good when I hold it in my hand and it must be easy to open up. Yes, I can be quite a prick when selecting my journal. But I feel that this is important as I will be confiding in this “friend” with my feelings and thoughts everyday and probably will be carrying it around everywhere.
