Don’t Worry…Be Happy

There is something to be said for being oblivious to life’s distractions and not worrying when bad things happen to you. Life is going to continue tommorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and the next. Life will continue on as it is and with that continuance will come a host of challenges and situations that need working out. However, if we learn how to change our thinking and our approach to these situations, we’d be better off for it.
Have you ever been disappointed or let down? What about being expecting of something only to discover that you didn’t get or won’t get it? Sure you have. We all have. It’s a fact of life. But let me share something with you that’s no secret but will help you understand this plight.
When You Think It, You Become It.
Now that’s not so much unlike what we’ve read in self-help books, in the Bible or have heard at seminars, workshops, read in books, etc., etc. The difference is in how you handle the challenge and what your attitude is while you’re going through the situation. Your attitude is key. Developing a positive attitude (or even an anti-negative one) is going to help you tremendously while you cope. Go ahead and decide you want things to be different. Decide that you will change your outlook on things and make a difference with your attitude. Decide that today is the last day that you think the old, negative way that you’ve been thinking. You can do it.
Do bad things happen to good people? Sure they do. But their attitude is what makes the difference.
