Attracting Money

Unless you are living in a cave in Timbuktu, you cannot miss noticing how things are getting more expensive these days. Money earned never seemed to catch up with the increasing standard of living. Thus for many, having more money is very important to keep up with the living standards. Attracting money into your life is not simple positive thinking or just plain wishful thinking.
If you think that you can attract money by just thinking very hard everyday that “I have $1 million in my bank” and then just sit there like dork, you are sadly mistaken and are going to be disappointed. Even striking the lottery could not happen, as you did not even take the action to go buy a ticket! All the positive thinking is just a start ( but nevertheless important). It sets your mindset right and prepares you with a correct focus to work towards your goal.
Remember, opportunities come and go around you due to the Law Of Attraction, but will you grab hold of the correct opportunity and take the correct actions? One of the actions you have to take is educating yourself.
What do I mean? It means that if you want to grab a opportunity, you must do your homework first. Educate yourself with the knowledge about the opportunity and not just take it at face value. Talk to people, read books, research online etc…
Here’s a good example :
Have you heard people talking about prices going up and how hot the share market is? These are the ever green hot topics that most working adults talk about during their lunch. You probably hear stories of how people make thousands overnight by just selling some of these shares. Hearing these stories probably get you so excited that you want to rush out and join in the action. But stop, these stories do not give you the complete picture. Behind those successful trades, these investors are probably savvy and knowledgeable on how to play the market. They do their homework on companies before they buy the shares and they study the share movements on the market for probably some time now.
Attracting money is not just wishful thinking. It requires making a smart decision and taking the correct action.

Yes I believe Oprah made a comment similar to this. It had to do with the guy who said he tapped (either $100,000 or a $1 Million Dollar) his goal on the ceiling so that he could see his goal every day.
Of course he did more than just “wish” for the money. He did - like you said - acted upon it.
Oprah said that some people got the impression that all you had to do was close your eyes and “wish” or desire the money and that it would “magically” appear and Oprah says that it doesn’t work that way.
You have to act!
so what of those stories of people that DIDNT do anything and just sat there like a “dork” and imagined it etc, and got what they wanted, how do you explain that? pure luck??doubt it…
If the law of attraction really works and if what we give our attention to will manifest in our lives than why can’t we imagine or focus on gettin alot of money without doing anything about it except visualizing. I read and read where the universe is at our command , so if this is so, then money can come to us NO? I read how you should visualize and leave the rest of the to the universe for how it will happen and when it will happen. I don’t want to get confused about all this because I am trying to better my life as it is and I have so much good to do with the money I would win, I don’t want it just for myself, I want it to help myself, open up a shelter for feral cats and yes i do want a better life , after having a past of nothing but pain.
I want the money to help others and to help myself.
Hey Patti! You are right. You are to ask, believe, expect, and act as if you already have it. You have to know what you want and not worry about how it is to be done. It’s the Universe’s job to line up everything and everyone you will need to make it happen. However, when approached with these aids, then you must act on it. Ex: Your goal of opening a cat shelter. Let’s say you meet someone who works at a PetSmart. Doesn’t seem that significant at the time. Let’s say that person helps a customer who has an animal clinic and wants to open a branch for cats and the PetSmart associate mentions you. One Saturday morning the three of you happen to be in PetSmart at the same time, meet, agree and thus become business partners. All the while you believed and expected and the Universe did the rest. So, Patti, get a notebook. Plan your shelter from the name of it to your assistants, their job duties, hours of operation, etc. And Congratulations Patti! on opening your new Clinic for Cats! **The past is just that: the past, so leave it there. How is one to look to their future of abundance if they are always looking back into the dust of the past?
